Emergency services called following discovery of ‘suspect device’
THE ARMY Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit is currently in Tallaght following the discovery of a suspect device in the Brookview Lawns area.
Gardai and the emergency services were called to the scene in Brookview Lawns this morning, February 10, following the discovery of a “suspect device”.
The Army EOD currently remain at the scene and a cordon has been set up.
In a statement to The Echo this afternoon, a Garda spokesperson said: “Gardai and emergency services were called to the Brookview Lawns area of Tallaght Co. Dublin, following the discovery of a suspect device, this morning, 10th February 2022.
“The army EOD are currently at the scene and a cordon has been set up.
“No further information is available at this time.”
