Equine facility gets the support from Council

SOUTH Dublin County Council has thrown its support behind the proposal for a new equine facility in Clondalkin.
The Clondalkin Equine Club has been working tirelessly over the past two years to develop a facility to help and educate young horse owners from the area.
The council also confirmed that meetings have taken place with the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine with initial proposals already drawn up for the project.
A spokeswoman for the council said: “The council is committed to providing funding of €50,000 and the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine has also indicated that it may be in a position to provide financial support as a contribution towards start up costs.”
