Over 100,000 Worry Plaques – the company’s first wellness product sold globally since it’s launch in 2016.

This success has led to the company creating an appropriate follow-on product – The No More Worries Kit – which includes a feelings journal and “all-important” conversation cards.

It was designed in response to feedback from parents, and in turn, the feedback the company have received from delighted parents, has proved overwhelming.

Last week, the company shared a message from a customer, describing it as “the best feedback we’ve ever gotten in Fairy HQ.”

The message from a parent was about her eight-year-old son who developed severe anxiety after a serious accident.

“He didn’t go to school for two months and when he went back he had daily panic attacks,” said the parent.

After undergoing therapy, it wasn’t until they received a gift of the Irish Fairy Door’s ‘No More Worries’ kit that the family saw a dramatic recovery.

“The conversation cards are absolutely fantastic and guided us through his worries,” said the parent.

“It is almost safe to say that he is nearly back to his normal bubbly self and is looking forward to making his Communion whereas before it was something he couldn’t face. He’s even doing a reading during the service.”

Whilst fairy doors remain the bread and butter of the business, co-founder Niamh Sherwin Barry has said the company have seen a massive take up on their wellness’ products.

The Irish Fairy Door Company was established in 2013 by life-long friends Sherwin Barry and Aoife Lawler, along with their husbands Oisin and Gavin, and is a local success story.

With distributors in Ireland, the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and the UAE, they employ 15 people at Fonthill Industrial Estate, and have plans in place to introduce new wellness products to their existing range.
