Festive sales blitz for TileStyle a ‘once-off’

MOST people will be taking it handy in the days after Christmas, but not the staff at Ballymount company TileStyle – who will be hosting a sales blitz from December 28-30.
It’s a ‘once-off’ type of sale for the business, who, despite what it says in the name, sell more than just a thousand tile designs.

Visitors to the showroom can choose from a wide variety of specialist products such as tiles, stones, flooring, all bathroom fit-outs and accessories.
“In terms of the blitz, it’s a once-off, three-day event running from December 28-30, with doors opening at 9am on December 28,” said Ruth McCarthy, Marketing Manager, TileStyle.
“We would advise people to arrive early and bring their measurements with them so they can avail of the offers of which stock is available.”
TileStyle was established in 1982 by the late Jim McNaughton, who built it up from a small ceramic tile business to one of the most prominent market leaders in the country.
Initially based in Ballymount, the company did relocate for a while to the North Wall, but moved back to Ballymount in 2008 and an impressive 52,000 sq ft showroom – the largest of its kind in the European Union.
The company employ over 70 people at their two warehouses and showroom in Ballymount Retail Centre.
Contract Sales Director, Brian Rafferty, said: “Having worked with TileStyle for over 20 years, I’ve seen the company evolve and grow from a small tile business to become Europe’s largest tile, bathroom and wood-flooring showroom.”
Ruth continued: “Offers will include metro tiles from €15 M2 (including Vat), Italian porcelain tiles from €22 per M2 (inc Vat), beautiful Porcelanosa laminate flooring from €18 per m2 (inc Vat), and there will be a limited number of stunning Porcelanosa complete bathrooms exc tiles for €999 (inc Vat).”
The award-winning company has picked up numerous accolades, and was shortlisted in the Top 4 Bathroom Retailers for the UK and Ireland earlier this year.
