Firefighters called to blaze in Tallaght house
By Mark Keane
Dublin Fire Brigade had to deal with a house fire in the Brookview area of Tallaght last night.
Four Dublin Fire Brigade engines (DFB), a rescue truck and an ambulance rushed to the scene at Brookview at 11.15pm, Wednesday night.
According to DFB, extensive fire damage was done to the house on Wednesday night and that all persons had escaped prior to their arrival.
A senior DFB officer was on the scene and firefighters in breathing apparatus extinguished the house fire in Brookview and there were no reported injuries, according to a DFB spokesperson.
Two houses, either side of the house, were smoke logged as a result, requiring the use of fans to prevent more smoke spreading in.
