Firefighters tackle house blaze in Tallaght

FIREFIGHTERS rushed to the scene of a housefire in Tallaght this morning.

Just after 5am, emergency services attended the scene of the blaze in Old Bawn where four units of Dublin Fire Brigade attended from Tallaght and Dolphin’s Barn.

Nobody was injured during the blaze, however The Echo understands one person escaped before emergency services arrived.

Flames could be seen coming from the roof of the premises which is extensively damaged upstairs.

Dublin Fire Brigade were at the scene for over two hours.
