She was formerly Vice Chair of the LVA, and took over from outgoing Chair Oliver Hughes on May 19.

The LVA is the trade association and representative body for the publicans of Dublin – representing the views of publicans to key stakeholders to promote strategic business interests.

The association has approximately 600 members, who sell over a quarter of the alcohol through the licensed trade in Ireland.
LVA members elect publicans as their representatives from areas across Dublin to represent them on the LVA Council.

The council is the key decision making body of the association, made up of 44 publicans who meet approximately 10 times a year.

The council, in turn, elect a board which is led by a Chairman and Vice-Chairman.

Residents praised Terenure mother and businesswoman for her succession to the “well deserved” role, with one punter looking forward to a “progressive period ahead.”
