Football coach to star on Operation Transformation

A CLONDALKIN mother-of-two and Crumlin United Football Club coach is starring as a leader in the new series of RTÉ’s hit health and fitness show ‘Operation Transformation’.

Stephanie Bowden, 31, who lives in Clondalkin with her partner Brian and their children Jack and Aoife, said she wants to inspire others and get back on the pitch as a footballer.

Since having Jack four years ago, and Aoife last year, Stephanie said she has struggled to be as involved in sports as she used to be and would like to remedy this during her time on the show.

Speaking ahead of the first episode of the new series, which aired earlier this week, Stephanie outlined what she hoped to achieve on ‘Operation Transformation’.

“I can’t wait to start my journey on Operation Transformation 2023,” she said.

“I’m looking forward to the adventure of learning all the skills to improve my overall wellbeing, but also an opportunity to experience what I feel life is about – community and connection – as part of the process.”

As a 2023 ‘Operation Transformation’ leader, Stephanie added that she wants to bring some sparkle to her life, she wants to believe in herself again, and help inspire others to do the same.

‘Operation Transformation’ continues next Wednesday, January 11, on RTÉ One at 9.35pm.
