Former Qantas chief drops €5.5m after airline debacle
FORMER boss of Australian carrier Qantas Alan Joyce has seen his pay for 2023 slashed by €5.5 million following the controversy that saw the airline selling seats for flights it had already cancelled.
Mr Joyce, a Tallaght native and former Aer Lingus employee, retired last September and took home close to €13m in the 2023 financial year, according to the company’s latest annual report.
