The Cottage Tea Rooms has been a local success story since opening its doors, and, alongside providing a much-needed space for people to gather locally, serves great coffee , freshly prepared food and home-baked cakes – all delivered in a copy setting by friendly staff.

Antoinette Kelly, owner of the Cottage Tea Rooms, gently renovated the cottage in keeping with its original features, which has conserved the area’s heritage, and has generated local employment – a shining example of the impact local, small, businesses can have in a community.

Tina McCormick, who is being supported by the Cottage Tea Rooms told The Echo: “The Cottage Tea Rooms is a lovely place to visit and to relax and have a cup of tea or coffee…and it’s absolutely loved by the locals such as myself.

“That’s why the Cottage Tea Rooms is the venue and I’m delighted Antoinette was up for hosting the Christmas Fair.”

She added: “The Christmas fair is there to give a platform for local craft makers and sellers to be seen by their community and was a great success last year.”

A variety of Christmas gifts and crafts will be sold at the fair including pottery, candles, jewellery, pet gifts, beauty gifts, knitted crafts and more.

Carol singers will create the backdrop to the Christmas Fair on the day and people are welcome to drop in, have a browse and relax with a cup of tea and some cake – all while supporting local business and crafts.

Raffle tickets will also be sold at the event, with ticket holders in with the chance to win a variety of gifts from the stalls at the fair.
