Garda confirm charge in investigation into alleged false imprisonment in Clondalkin

Gardaí in Clondalkin investigating an alleged false imprisonment and assault have charged a male for two incidents.

The alleged false imprisonment and assault of a woman took place in the Monastery area of Clondalkin on 3 September 2015, with the same male also charged in connection with an alleged false imprisonment and assault of a woman in the Knockmeenagh area of Clondalkin on the 16 May 2016.

They have confirmed that the male is 32-years-old and will appear before Ct No 2 CCJ Parkgate St at 4.30pm today, the 2 June 2016.
