Garda investigate after teenager receives facial injuries outside shop

A YOUNG teenager was rushed to hospital this evening after receiving facial injuries from what is understood to be from a pellet gun.

Emergency services including Gardai and Dublin Fire Brigade rushed to the Dromcarra area of Jobstown around 6pm following the incident outside a shop.

The male teenager was taken to Crumlin Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and investigations are ongoing.

A Garda statement to The Echo this evening said: “Gardaí are investigating an incident at a shop in Tallaght, Dublin 24, this evening, Tuesday 25th January 2022.

“A male juvenile teen received facial injuries (not life threatening) and has been taken to Crumlin Hospital for treatment. Investigation is ongoing”.
