Gardai appeal for information in relation to death of Mark who’s body was found in recycling centre

GARDAI are appealing to anyone with information in relation to the death of Mark Burke 10 years ago.

Mark’s remains were found at a recycling centre in Ballyfermot on Juny 31, 2014 and was last seen two days earlier in Dun Laoghaire.

A garda statement said: “Sunday, 28th July 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the death of 36-year-old Mark Burke.

“Mark was last seen on Monday, 28th July 2014 on Corrig Avenue in Dun Laoghaire. He was originally from Sandyford in South Dublin.

“His remains were located in a recycling centre in Ballyfermot on 31st July 2014.

“An Garda Síochána continue to investigate the death of Mark Burke and are appealing to anyone with information in relation to the death of Mark, however insignificant it may seem, to come forward. Any person who may have seen or spoken to Mark in the areas of Dundrum and Dun Laoghaire prior to his death in July 2014 is also asked to contact Gardaí”.
