Gardai appeal for witnesses following fatal truck collision

A woman in her 60s has died following a traffic collision with a truck on Bulfin Road yesterday.

Gardai are investigating the traffic collision, which occurred at 4.40pm on Tuesday, October 2.

According to a Garda statement released this morning: “The injured woman was taken from the scene by ambulance to St James' Hospital but was pronounced dead in the early hours of this morning October 3.”

The driver of the truck was not injured, according to Gardai.
