Gardai arrest third person in relation to Crooksling murder

Gardaí investigating the murder of Neil Fitzgerald at Hills Lane, Tallaght on Sunday 5th of June, have arrested a man in his 20s.

He is detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939.

This is the third arrest as part of this investigation. A man and a woman were arrested on Sunday in connection with the murder.

The body of Mr Fitzgerald was discovered by a member of the public while out walking on Sunday morning, and gardai have urged anyone who was in the Hills Lane area between 8pm on Saturday night and 9am on Sunday morning to contact them.
