Gardai investigate alleged assault on man and woman

GARDAI have launched an investigation following an alleged assault on a man and a woman in Tallaght on St Patrick’s Day night.
Gardai were called to the scene of the alleged assault of a man in his thirties and a female in her late teens that occurred in the Marlfield Lawns area.
Gardai confirmed that investigations are ongoing
A Garda statement released to The Echo this afternoon said: “Gardai attended the scene of an assault on the night of Wednesday, the 17th of March 2021 at Marlfield Lawns, Tallaght, Co. Dublin.
“A male, aged in his 30s, and a female, aged in her late teens, received non-serious injuries following an assault involving a group of unidentified individuals.
“The male was conveyed to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment of his non-serious injuries.
“No arrests have been made at this stage.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
