Gardai investigating Ballyfermot assault arrest male juvenile

*UPDATE – Gardai have confirmed that the male juvenile arrested yesterday, February 2, 2022, in connection with this assault has been released.

A MALE juvenile has been arrested as part of an investigation into a serious assault that took place in the vicinity of the Civic Offices, Ballyfermot Road, on Thursday, December 30.

According to a Garda statement issued, the male juvenile was arrested on Wednesday morning, February 2.

A Garda spokesperson said: “He is currently being detained at a Garda Station in West Dublin under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

“Investigations are ongoing.”
