
Gardai recover 95 bicylces as they search for owners

CLOSE to 100 bicycles were stolen in the Clondalkin and Ballyfermot areas over the last month, according to gardai.
Pictures of 95 individual bicycles were posted on the Garda Síochána Dublin Facebook page on Saturday, May 9.

Residents are encouraged to check the pictures if their own bicycle was stolen recently, but proof of ownership will be required.
Referring to the bikes posted on their Facebook page, a Garda spokesperson said: “Over the past number of weeks, [the following] pedal cycles have been located by gardai in Ballyfermot and Clondalkin.
“If you believe one of these bikes belongs to you, please contact Clondalkin gardai by email to clondalkin_community@garda.ie, stating your name, contact details and reference number (on bike frame) of bike.
People will need to prove ownership.”
