Gardai uncover massive haul of cocaine in Tallaght

As part of an ongoing operation into the sale and supply of controlled substances in Dublin City Gardaí from the Drugs Units attached to Ballymun searched a house in Tallaght on Tuesday evening.
During the course of the search Gardaí discovered approximately 13 kilos of Cocaine with an estimated street value of over €930,000.
A small quantity of Ecstasy tablets was also seized during the course of the search.
In a follow up operation Gardaí arrested a man in 40’s in connection with this investigation.
He is currently detained at Ballymun Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
