Get into the spooky spirit at your local library

SOUTH Dublin Libraries are preparing for a spooky Halloween by hosting many different activities for children.

To get into the Halloween spirit, Lucan, Castletymon, Tallaght, and Ballyroan libraries are holding a Harry Potter wand-making workshop during the week before Halloween at 3.30pm, while Clondalkin Library is hosting a create-your-own spellbook workshop on October 27 at 3pm.

Each library is also hosting a variety of different activities as well.

Ballyroan Library is hosting a Halloween Crafts (ages 8-12) at 3pm and a Spooky Storytime for Little Ones (ages 3-6) at 3.30pm on Halloween day.

Lucan Library is hosting a Tom Palmer-Football Reading Game on October 26 at 3.30pm, a Spooky Storytime for children under the age of six on October 31, and a Halloween Arts and Crafts on November 1. Both at 3pm.

Tallaght County Library is hosting a Halloween Story Time and a Halloween Arts and Crafts at 3.30pm Halloween day. They are also hosting a Halloween Treasure Trail October 31 from 12 noon to 4pm.

Clondalkin Library is hosting a Harry Potter Quiz on October 26 at 6.30pm, plus a Spooky Dress-Up Story Time on October 31 at 3.30pm.

With this many activities, who needs Trick or Treating?
