Get the shovel ready, or the JCB, for the coming snow
By Mark Keane
Get the shovel ready for the Beast from the East, or if possible, take a page out of Woodstown Village Knocklyon’s book and get the JCB ready.
These photos were taken in Woodstown Village back in 2010, the last time we had a decent fall of snow - with many, especially children, hoping that we have similar scenes as Storm Emma approaches later in the week.
In 2010 the Woodstown neighbours worked together, with the help of a JCB, to clear the snow from the roads and paths on Woodstown Park, with many communities preparing for the same level of snowfall as weather predictions worsen.
