Go-ahead to change retail unit to recreational area

PLANS have been approved by South Dublin County Council for the change of use of a retail unit to a spa/recreational facility to include swimming pool area.

Located at Unit 11, Tallaght Retail Centre, applicant Maxela Ltd was granted permission which also includes a relaxation area, treatment rooms, associated office/administration areas, changing facilities, internal dining/restaurant area, associated kitchen facilities and plant areas.

Also on the plans are associated ducting/extraction vents with associated elevational changes, connections to all services and site development works, new internal mezzanine floor to provide additional 602sq.m at new first-floor level and on-street bicycle parking outside the building for 18 bicycles at the corner of Abberley Square and Abberley Square East.
