Green Angel waxes lyrical about ingredients in candles

RATHCOOLE skincare company Green Angel’s Seaweed Soap with Lavender and Mandarin is among the locally-made craft items featuring in Design Ireland’s new #MadeLocal campaign.
The brand’s luxurious soy wax candles also feature, reflecting the fact that Green Angel Candles are hand-poured in Ireland in a time-honoured craft tradition.

Design Ireland’s #MadeLocal marketing campaign focuses on Irish crafters who design and make their products locally.
Handmade from 100 per cent soy wax, Green Angel candles produce a cleaner burn than paraffin wax and feature a natural cotton wick.
Priced at €20, the hand-crafted candles provide around 55 hours of candlelight.
The company’s Organic Seaweed Soap is prepared from four different types of nutrient-rich hand-harvested Irish Seaweed from the west coast of Ireland.
Green Angel is delighted and proud to have been selected to participate in Design Ireland’s #MadeLocal campaign, according to company co-founder Mary Mitchell.

Founded in 2006 by Chris and Mary Mitchell, the company has enjoyed considerable growth in recent years, both at home and abroad.
