Have you ever thought about becoming a foster carer?

Have you ever thought about becoming a foster carer?

Two events for people interested in becoming foster carers will take place in Tallaght this week.

As the need for foster carers continues, especially in Dublin, the open days will aim to answer any questions those interested may have about fostering.

Hosted by Fostering First Ireland (FFI), the events in Tallaght Library and Rua Red will provide basic information on what is involved in fostering and in becoming a foster carer.

FFI are also seeking to dispel the myth that people from the LGBT community cannot be foster carers, and are inviting anyone interested from the LGBT community to drop by to find out more about fostering.

The first event will take place at Tallaght Library on Tuesday June 20 from 10:30am-12-30am.

The second event will take place in Rua Red on Wednesday June 21 from 5:30pm-8:30pm.
