*** UPDATE Coco has been found safe and well. According to her owners, she was found wandering in Ballinascorney by a kind person, who cared for Coco over the weekend before bringing her to Priory Vets in Tallaght Village.

Coco's owners were traced through her microchip. Coco's family has thanked everyone for their help.

THE family of a missing cockapoo called Coco has issued an appeal for help after their much-loved family pet went missing in the forest in Ballinascorney on Friday, February 21.

Described as being a very friendly dog, Coco’s devastated family has carried out numerous searches in-and-around the forest area in Ballinascorney, Brittas, where she was last seen.

According to her owners, Coco ran into bushes while out walking at around 2pm last Friday and didn’t come back.

Coco, who is one-and-a-half years old, is wearing a red collar with white spots on it.

There’s no name tag but she is microchipped and registered.

In an appeal for help, Coco’s owners said they are heartbroken to have lost their beloved pet and would appreciate anyone’s help in finding her.
