Heineken on Belgard Rd resizedHEINEKEN has moved from its Irish HQ in Tallaght for a new office in Kilmainham, a sobering development for the local Tallaght economy as the drinks giant removes its 60 employees from the Belgard Road area.

Heineken Ireland moved its Dublin offices and Naas Road depot to the Old Belgard Road in 2003, a move which brought the company’s marketing, commercial, draught service and administration under one roof.

The Echo understands that no jobs have been lost in the move, with more than 60 employees transferring to Heineken’s new office in Kilmainham.

The official opening of the new office is not taking place until October, so Heineken was unable to release any specific details at this time.

This is a busy time of the year for the company, which will be getting ready to release its official advertisement for the Rugby world Cup tournament next month.
