4. EMMERSE yourself and your little Einsteins in Science Week, which is running from November 8 to 15 right across the city. There’s a host of interactive and fun events and workshops planned, which brings science out of the classroom. Visit for a full list of events. One of the most interesting events (at least for the kids) is the LEGO education workshop, while the Entertaining Science Circus Show in IT Tallaght is another that is surely worth a visit.

5. CRUNCH your way through one of South Dublin County’s walking trails, with local parks such as Tymon, Corkagh and Griffeen offering beautiful autumnal displays – and plenty of fun activities for all the family. Visit for park features and opening times.
