High-speed chase started in Tallaght ends with man being arrested in Bray

A high-speed chase involving several garda vehicles that started in Tallaght last night ended with one man being arrested in Bray.

The 24-year-old man was tracked by garda vehicles in the Jobstown area around midnight and was pursued down the Tallaght bypass at speed.

He then looped back and around and travelled outbound towards Tallaght before speeding down the Greenhills Road.

The man eventually made his way onto the M50 where he was pursued by a significant number of garda, with one eye-witness saying up to 20 vehicles were involved in the motorway chase.

The man was finally apprehended by gardai in the Bray area and appeared in court this morning charged with dangerous driving offences.
