High winds warning issued to motorists using M50 between Tallaght and Shankill
Motorists have been warned to take care travelling on the M50 between Tallaght and Shankill today due to high winds.
The strong winds are affecting the carriageways in both direction between Junction 11 and 17.

The have said: “Extra care is advised travelling in both directions on the M50 between J11 Tallaght and the M50/M11 merge/J17 M11 due to strong winds.”
Both Dublin Fire Brigade and An Gard Siochana have also issued warnings to motorists in relation to expected heavy rainfall in the capital today.

Met Eireann have said between 25-40mm of rain could fall between now and 10pm tonight.
