Home Store+More to expand Mountpark logistics by 40%

HOME Store + More are to expand at the their national logistics centre in Baldonnell, increasing their space there by 40 per cent.
The retailer confirmed that the Home Store + More Mountpark Logistics EU has reached agreement on a lease for Unit C at the Baldonnell site.

This is the second letting by Mountpark to Home Store + More in two years.
To date, Mountpark has agreed all lettings well in advance of completion, such has been the high demand for sought-after specification of units provided by the developer and it’s location at a premier city logistics corridor.
Unit C is under construction and will extend to 88,372sq ft. Subject to no further delays as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the unit is scheduled for completion by December 2021.
Home Store + More has a long-term lease on Unit B at Baldonnell Business Park, which was officially opened in September 2019.
That state-of-the-art logistics facility is 203,500 sq ft. Home Store + More supply all 22 of their branches in Ireland from this national logistics centre.
Tristan Geoghegan of Home Store + More, said the expansion at Baldonnell will help the company grow and serve customer needs, “providing a wide range of products to enhance their homes and gardens”.

Our facility at Baldonnell has already proved to be a huge success for our business and our customers and we are delighted to be expanding our operations in South Dublin,” he said.

Mountpark is currently on site with 876,053 sq ft of construction over three buildings, including Unit C let to Home Store + More.
Unit D is to be the latest inventory development by Mountpark and will provide 133,806 sq ft of prime logistics space to the Dublin market, available from December 2021.
In addition to Unit D, a final plot of 11 acres is available for design and build opportunities up to 190,000 sq ft. The success of Mountpark Baldonnell will represent an inward investment in the region of €200m.
Mountpark Baldonnell site is located at Clonlara Road between Casement Aerodrome and Baldonnell Business Park, conveniently located for access to the M50, Outer Ring Road, N81 and N4.
CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield are joint agents for Phase 2 of Mountpark Baldonnell.
