Housing development plans for Tandy’s Lane

A HOUSING development for a site located on Tandy's Lane in Lucan looks set to be on the cards, after a planning application was submitted to South Dublin County Council.
The application, which was received on April 27, is for the demolition of structures that currently exist on the site and the construction of five residential dwellings.
Included within the structures on the site is the former An Post Lucan Delivery Office, which will be demolished if planning permission is granted.
All five of the dwellings will be three-storey houses ranging between 125sqm and 135sqm with five on-street car parking spaces.
Landscaping and boundary treatments are also included within the application, along with site services and development works.
Third party submissions will be accepted on the application until May 31, with a decision on the application due by June 21.
