‘It doesn’t make sense to sell vehicles used in extreme weather’
Calls have been made for the Minister for Defence to rethink a decision to sell two Hagglund vehicles stationed in Belgard that have been used in national emergencies.
Letters have been sent to the Minister for Defence Helen McEntee TD urging her to reconsider a decision by the Civil Defence to sell the two Hagglund tracked articulated all-terrain vehicles located at the Dublin Civil Defence Training Centre on the Belgard Road.
