THE cinema at The Square is set to re-open before Christmas, with a new operator refurbishing the existing 13-screen complex into a ‘cutting-edge, world-class’ cinema.

It has been confirmed today that leading Irish cinema chain Movies@ is set to open its doors in Tallaght, with its arrival the latest addition to The Square’s ongoing expansion and development.

Speaking about the new cinema, Managing Director for the Movies@ Group, Graham Spurling said: “We are really excited to be opening at The Square Tallaght, a location we believe fits with our vision of delivering an unrivalled experience for our customers.

“We will be playing a full range of content appealing to all tastes, from Blockbusters, Niche Interest and Live Shows all set within a modern, friendly and welcoming environment.

“The cinema is being completely refurbished from top to bottom and re-equipped with incredible laser projection, surround sound equipment and each of the 13 screens are also being fitted out with super comfortable luxury seating options including electric recliners and our twin seat sofas, to offer an unrivalled out of home experience.

“This together with the redesigned foyer including a wide range of snacking options and our brand-new artisan coffee offering will make everyone feel like they have the red-carpet treatment from the minute they arrive.”
