Local Faces: Reggie Norman
PARKRUN is the name given to a group of five-kilometre runs (or walks) that take place every weekend at many locations both at home and abroad.
The Parkrun concept was initially conceived in 2004 by a Zimbabwean man living in London. Paul Sinton-Hewitt was an amateur runner who, due to an injury amongst other things, was, in 2004 struggling with the grim spectre of depression.
