Lucan woman’s company ensures that firms focus on a client’s needs

A LUCAN woman has helped a company obtain integrated ISO certification.

Cavan, to become the first company in Ireland to obtain integrated ISO certification for both the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards from the NSAI (National Standards Authority of Ireland).

Caroline runs CG Business Consulting based in Park West and employs eight people.

The revisions to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 were released in September 2015 and include greater involvement by senior management, a new structure, and a variety of other changes needed to meet standard conformance.

Caroline Geoghegan told The Echo: “It is estimated that up to 3,000 companies in Ireland will be implementing changes to their management systems in order to comply with the new standard.”

At the presentation of the Certificates,Caroline Ashe, Commercial Director, Kore, said, “ISO is an excellent management tool. It ensures that we are always focused on meeting customer requirements.

“I want to acknowledge the pivotal role that CG Business Consulting played in helping us to achieve this ISO certification.”
