Man (20) observed moving drugs from ‘A to B’

A PROBATION report was ordered for a man who was observed moving drugs from “A to B” in Tallaght.

Jamie Dawson (20), Cushlawn Drive, Tallaght, appeared before Tallaght District Court.

The court heard gardai observed the accused handling drugs on September 3, 2025 at Cushlawn Way, Tallaght, cannabis to the value of €320 and cocaine to the value of €280.

Defence solicitor Michael Hennessy said his client was a very low-level individual, simply moving drugs from “A to B” and had last worked in a factory.

His client was now drug free and has applied for treatment at CARP in Tallaght.

Mr Hennessy asked the court to consider measures available to ensure his client was not back before the courts again.

Judge Áine Clancy ordered a probation report, putting sentencing back to April 17, 2026, at Tallaght District Court.
