Bryce, aged 31, with an address at Thomond Road, Ballyfermot, is charged with simple possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis for sale or supply at an address at Earlsfort Rise, Lucan, on February 6, 2017.

The court had heard it will be alleged that on February 6, 2017, the gardai carried out a search of an address in Lucan. Cannabis with an estimated street value of €4,500 was allegedly found during the search, along with bagging equipment and some weighing scales.

Bryce was before Judge Miriam Walsh for service of his book of evidence.

A Solicitor for the DPP told Judge Walsh that the book was ready to be served.

She said the DPP had consented for Bryce to be sent forward for trial to the next sitting of Dublin Circuit Court. Judge Walsh issued Bryce with the alibi caution and sent him forward on bail to the next sitting of Dublin Circuit Court.
