Man hospitalised following incident of assault in Sean Walsh Park

GARDAI are investigating an incident of assault that occurred in Sean Walsh Park on Sunday.

In a comment to The Echo, gardai confirmed that a man in his twenties was hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries.

According to a Garda spokesperson: “Gardai are investigating an incident of assault which occurred in Sean Walsh Park, Tallaght, at approximately 9pm yesterday evening, Sunday 8 May 2022.

“A man aged in his 20s was taken to Tallaght Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

“No arrests have been made at this time.”

Investigations are ongoing, gardai said.
