Man in ‘serious condition’ after Lucan shooting

GARDAI in Lucan are currently at the scene of a shooting incident that happened in Griffeen Glen Park earlier this afternoon.

According to gardai, the incident happened in the Lucan estate at around 1.50pm today (Wednesday, September 4).

A Garda spokesperson said: “A man (early 40s) was shot a number of times while in his car.

“He has been removed to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown in a serious condition.”
