Man shot in early morning attack

Gardai in Sundrive Rd are investigating a shooting incident on Monasterboice Rd at approximately 4am this morning.

A male in his 30’s was discovered with a gunshot injury on the street.

He was taken to St James’s Hospital with injuries described as non life threatening. 

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and investigations are on-going.
