Maloney was also caught with €500 worth of heroin and €80 worth of cocaine on another date.

Maloney, aged 27, with an address at Donomore Park, Tallaght, pleaded guilty to simple possession of heroin and simple possession of cocaine at Donomore Park on July 25, 2016.

He also pleaded guilty to breaching the peace at Tallaght Court, Westpark, Tallaght, and to violent behaviour in Tallaght Garda Station both on October 25, 2016.

Sergeant Eithne Madden told Judge McNamara that on July 25, 2016, Garda Michelle McGuinness had been on patrol in Donomore Park in Tallaght when she came across Maloney and searched him under the misuse of Drugs Act.

Sgt. Madden said Garda McGuinness found Maloney in possession of €500 worth of heroin and €80 worth of cocaine.

Sgt Madden added that October 25 last, Moloney had been sitting in the public gallery in Tallaght Courthouse and was asked to stop talking by Garda Tom O’Riordan. Maloney told the Garda to “f*** off” and was then asked to leave the court where he continued to be abusive.

Sgt. Madden said Maloney was arrested and taken to Tallaght Garda Station where he continued to act aggressively.
