Management maintenance and operation tender process for leisure campus to open

THE tender process for the management, maintenance and operation of the Lucan Leisure Campus is now at the second stage.

South Dublin County Council provided the update, confirming the progress and stating that potential operators are shortly due to engage with the council to review key operational objectives in preparation for submission of final tenders.

According to the council, site meetings are ongoing on a monthly basis between the design team for the project, the contractors and the council.

As reported recently by The Echo, CEO Daniel McLoughlin said that he hoped that Lucan Swimming Pool would have been finished at the end of last Summer, but it is currently looking like being a year late at least, with the project expected to be completed by the end of Summer or Autumn this year.
