Among those expected to attend the commemoration service are Mayor of Dublin Críona Ní Dhálaigh, Archbishop of Dublin Diarmuid Martin, and many other dignitaries.

Refreshments will be provided in the parish centre after the church service in St Agnes – which has recently been refurbished internally.

ARC recognise the causes of addiction are linked to social injustice and inequality in society, and that people can recover from addiction and go on to reach their full potential.

ARC aims to provide a holistic service that is service user-centred, caring, non-judgemental and delivered with a professional approach.

The project is community driven and based on community development principles. It aims to develop the self-esteem and confidence of service users and to provide them with alternative life options.
