Motorist had twice legal level of alcohol

A banned motorist who was killed along with a passenger in his vehicle while fleeing gardaí in Dublin five years ago had almost twice the legal level of alcohol and traces of cocaine in his body, an inquest has heard, reports Seán McCárthaigh.

Dean Coleman (25) suffered fatal injuries when the Fiat Stilo he was driving crashed on Butterfield Avenue, Rathfarnham at 1.30am on December 17, 2019.
