A total of 326,200 sq ft of warehousing space has been built at Baldonnell, with the space specifically designed to meet the needs of the two tenants, Home Store & More and United Drug.

The Home Store & More facility is 207,300 sq ft.

The Mountpark Baldonnell site is located at Barney’s Lane on the N7 Naas Road – Ireland’s premier logistics corridor, between Casement Aerodrome and Baldonnell Business Park, conveniently located for access to the M50, Outer Ring Road, N81 and N4. The location is just 6km from the M50.

The buildings are designed to promote sustainable behaviour, with intelligent lighting systems and electric charger points for cars on site. These sustainability features were important to the prospective tenants.

To date, over 740 people have been employed in building the state-of-the-art development. The development has been subject to €2.3m in development contribution charges to South Dublin County Council.

Mountpark Logistics Managing Director, Philip O’Callaghan says: “We are delighted to complete Phase One of our project in Baldonnell.

We promised to build a state-of-the-art development that would attract top quality businesses and employment opportunities to the area.

“These units have delivered on that promise and it is superb to see Home Store & More join United Drug as the tenants in Mountpark Baldonnell.

“We would like to thank the officials and members of South Dublin County Council for their support. A project such as this requires a partnership approach with the local authority, with landowners and with other local stakeholders.

Our experience in South Dublin has been very positive and we will look forward to announcing further developments in the very near future.”
