Musical session to honour Des Carty on his 30th anniversary
Café Aon Scéal hosted a lunchtime musical session to honour one of Tallaght’s most influential musicians on the 30th anniversary of his passing last week.
Des Carty, a skilled traditional musician who not only played all over Tallaght and south Dublin but also taught many of those still playing today, passed away on February 25, 1996.
