N81 closed following early morning collision
GARDAI are this morning at the scene of a road traffic collision that occurred on the N81 at around 6.15am.
According to gardai, the collision occurred when a truck collided with a male who was travelling on an electronic scooter.
Gardai said: “The N81 in Tallaght is currently closed and local diversions are in place”.
The stretch of the N81 in the Jobstown direction is closed, with motorists advised to take alternative routes.
Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed on its Twitter account that the N81 is closed near the Jobstown House, with diversions in place.
