Nationwide: Broadcaster John Murray visits his hometown of Tallaght
TUNE into Nationwide this Monday evening as broadcaster John Murray visits his hometown of Tallaght.
John, who is guest presenting the RTE One show, will bring viewers on a tour of where he lived in Tallaght, visiting familiar sites and chatting with locals.
As he takes a trip down memory lane, John meets with the Walk & Talk group on the Dodder Valley Greenway and chats with Stephen Brennan, who set up the initiative over a year ago.
He also pops into Tom McGlynn’s goat farm and allotments, located only five minutes away from Tallaght village in Old Court.

Tiktok sensation Breda Holmes, who has 1.3 million followers, also meets John at The Edge, a cafe and co-working space located off the Dodder Greenway at Avonbeg.
The Edge is also home to The Echo, the paper which John kick started his career in journalism off with in the early eighties, when it was called the Tallaght Echo.
