SIGNAGE has now gone up on the front of the HSE’s new Kilnamanagh Tymon Primary Care Centre at the junction of Airton Road and Greenhills Road, with plans for it to be open by this summer.

Units in the centre, which will be one of the largest primary care centres in the country, will be let to a number of local GPs, and space in the building has also been earmarked for the HSE and for the development of a retail pharmacy.

The HSE services that will be available in the new development include community nursing, speech and language therapy, child and adult counselling services, occupational therapy and physiotherapy.

The centre will also provide addiction services, including the Community Alcohol and Drugs Service, and the Youth Drug and Alcohol Service, while EVE Riverview services and mental health services, including a mental health intellectual difficulty team, will also be housed in the centre.

Speaking to The Echo last February, a HSE spokesperson said: “It is envisaged that the HSE Kilnamanagh Tymon Primary Care Centre, Junction House, Tallaght, Dublin 24 will be operational during the second quarter of 2018.”
