No decisions yet on CCTV by Data Protection Commission

THE outcome of an audit by the Data Protection Commission (DPC) in relation to the council’s use of CCTV, including at local parks and cemeteries, has yet to be determined.

However, South Dublin County Council say they have “clearly outlined” their “justification” to the DPC for the use of CCTV and await the findings of the audit, which began two years ago.
